Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train launch: The newly introduced Vande Bharat Express between Ernakulam and Bengaluru is experiencing huge demand. The train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi. This train service marks the third Vande Bharat Express for Kerala. It will be operated and maintained by the Southern Railway (SR) zone.

The tickets that opened for booking earlier in the day were sold out within hours, for the next few days. According to the IRCTC ticket booking portal, tickets for train number 26652 Ernakulam–KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat are fully booked, with the Executive Chair Car waitlisted for the next 10 days.
Meanwhile, AC Chair Car tickets have also sold out for November 16, and for November 11 – the first day of the commercial run – lesser than 50 seats remained available (as of 16:39 hrs, November 8).
Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat ticket price
The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train is consist of eight coaches. There are two types of seating arrangements: AC Chair Car and Executive AC. The ticket price for travelling in an AC Chair Car on Vande Bharat Express between Ernakulam and KSR Bengaluru is Rs 1615. For an Executive Chair Car, this comes up to Rs 2980.
Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Timings
During its commercial run, train number 26651 Bangalore-Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 05:10 hrs to reach Ernakulam at 13:50 hrs. In its return journey, train number 26652 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will leave Ernakulam at 14:20 hrs to reach KSR Bengaluru at 23:00 hrs.

Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Stops
Train number 26651/26652 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam will run via Coimbatore, Palakkad route. During its journey between Ernakulam and KSR Bengaluru, this Vande Bharat train will stop at seven stations. These are: Krishnarajapuram, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad and Thrissur.
