Ettumanur to host day-long seminar by Cooperation department

The Cooperation department will host a day-long seminar titled ‘Vision 2031’ in Ettumanur on Tuesday (October 28, 2025).

The seminar, with focus on ‘achievements and future development goals’ of the Cooperation department, will be inaugurated by Cooperation Minister V.N. Vasavan. Government Chief Whip N. Jayaraj will preside over the function. Veena N. Madhavan, Special Secretary, Cooperation department, will present a report on the department’s achievements over the past decade.

The technical sessions will feature expert-led discussions on enhancing youth participation in the cooperative sector and strengthening the department’s role in key areas, such as public health, tourism, energy, education, agriculture, expatriate welfare and modernisation.

Jose K. Mani, MP, and Francis George, MP, will be present, along with all the legislators from the district and district panchayat president Hemalatha Premsagar.
