‘Tulsa King’ star Sylvester Stallone recently delved into his thoughts on the prequel to the ‘Rambo’ series. The actor shared that he had wished to be part of the direction of the film himself. Not only that, but the star had also wished to use artificial intelligence technology to return to the beloved character as well after all these years.

During an appearance on the ‘Bingeworthy’ podcast by The Playlist, the actor delved into one of his most iconic roles, ‘Ramo’, which helped him skyrocket to fame almost 4 decades ago. The last film in the ‘Rambo’ franchise was released in 2019. The actor revealed that he wanted there to be another film for the franchise; however, it was not a follow-up to the 2019 release.He shared that with the use of de-aging artificial intelligence technology, he wanted to return to the franchise, however, as an 18-year-old Rambo.

The actor wanted there to be a prequel that covered the fighting legend’s early years as a young teen. “Everyone thought I was crazy, AI is sophisticated enough to go through Saigon to see him at 18 years old and basically use the same image. So it isn’t as big a stretch”, he shared during the podcast.

While the prequel is officially in the works, rather than Stallone himself, Noah Centineo from ‘Stranger Things’ will be taking on the role of a young, 18-year-old Rambo.

Stallone talked about the matter, saying that it was going to be hard and tough for the actor, citing his own experience from starring in the remake of ‘Get Carter’.He shared, “It’s very, very hard. He may do a stellar job, but you’re overcoming this because I went through it with Get Carter. Everyone loves the original, and then you’re always fighting that prejudice.”
