Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Monday (August 25) inspected the Brindavanam Spirits India Private Limited distillery at Kankal village in Pudur mandal of Vikarabad.

During the visit, he reviewed the holding tanks, blending unit, bottling section, CCTV systems connected to the command control centre and the track-and-trace mechanism. He also sought details on the manufacturing process, including raw materials, production, supply and labelling methods.

The Minister directed the company management to adhere strictly to government regulations in the production and sale of alcohol, stressing the need to maintain quality standards and take measures to safeguard public health and environment.

He said records of raw materials, manufactured liquor and supplies to depots were thoroughly examined as part of the surprise inspection.

Excise Superintendent Vijayabhaskar, Assistant Commissioner D. Srinivas and other officials accompanied the Minister during the inspection.
