Udne Ki Aasha actor Kanwar Dhillon is a gym enthusiast. Though earlier he did cardio and weight lifting, a shoulder injury made him take a step back from his routine. Even with a busy schedule, he makes sure to focus on his fitness.He said, "Ideally, my daily fitness routine includes at least an hour at the gym. For me, going to the gym is like visiting a temple—it’s my personal space and something I need every day. Over the last three months, my routine has been a bit compromised because of my shooting schedule and a shoulder injury, due to which I was advised not to do weight training.""For now, I’ve been focusing more on cardio to maintain balance until I can get back to weights," he added.He mentioned that fitness has always been a very important part of his life, even before he entered showbiz. He said, "I come from a sports background—I was a school sports captain, a sprinter, and an athlete who competed in track and field events. While our profession demands a certain level of fitness, I believe acting comes first.""That said, fitness is essential given the lifestyle we lead today, and I don’t like compromising on it unless injuries or schedules force me to," he added.

Asked how he maintains his energy with long working hours, he said, "Eating the right kind of food and avoiding too much junk or oily food. I usually snack on fruits or dry fruits and stay well-hydrated. I strongly believe that when you eat right and live right, you automatically feel right."Kanwar shared that he has a fixed diet. He said, "I believe in eating everything in proportion, avoiding extreme or fad diets, and focusing on balanced, nutritious meals every day."His go-to meal is eggs and tandoori chicken. He said, "I usually start my day with three or four egg whites, as they’re a great natural source of protein. I can easily eat tandoori chicken every day—it’s healthy, filling, and doesn’t compromise on taste.""I also make sure to include fruits or dry fruits regularly to keep my nutrition balanced," he added.All said, he doesn't believe in having fixed cheat days; instead, he indulges in his favorite food every once in a while.

He said, "If I feel like eating something I enjoy, I don’t stop myself. I think it’s important not to be too harsh on yourself. Vada pav is something I indulge in occasionally, and once in a while, I also enjoy burgers from my friend’s outlet, Jimmy’s Burger."Though Kanwar confessed that he hasn’t tried meditation or mindfulness yet, he truly appreciates people who have made it a part of their daily routine. He added, "It's a big thumbs-up to them.

I’ve been a sportsman all my life, and growing up on the field has helped condition me mentally to handle stress and different situations in life."For him, discipline is everything. He said, "In a city like Mumbai, where the pace is fast and work hours are unpredictable, having a fixed routine—especially with diet—really helps. Even when workouts get irregular due to shoots, I balance it out by eating right. Diet, according to me, contributes nearly sixty to seventy percent to how you look and feel."He also revealed that skincare is extremely important to him. He said, "I’ve dealt with acne and skin issues in the past. I’m very particular about removing makeup after shoots, washing my face regularly, eating well, and drinking a lot of water. I don’t follow a specific skincare routine, but I make sure my skin stays hydrated and moisturized, and I always wash my face when I return home to avoid dirt or stickiness."Two fitness tips? "First, eat right and stay hydrated—nutrition plays a bigger role than people realize. Second, be consistent and disciplined; even simple workouts or cardio done regularly can make a big difference over time," Kanwar ended.
