According to reports from Deadline, the popular Korean drama is heading towards an international remake, and that too before any news about the original show’s sequel. As per the report, Leila Gerstein, known for shows like ‘

Gossip Girl

’, ‘The O.C.’, ‘Life As We Know It’, and ‘Hart of Dixie’, will be taking over the remake shop and will possibly be credited as the writer.As of right now, the production team of the original show has made no official comment on the report, and has also avoided all claims of there being a remake as well. The production studio issued a statement to EDaily, saying “it’s difficult to answer”.

About ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’

In August 2022, it was confirmed that the original show will be getting a second season soon. At the time, the two leads of the show had been busy with their own schedules. Eun Bin was busy wrapping up filming for other projects, while Kang Tae Oh was enlisted in the military due to his 1 year and 6 months of mandatory service.The story follows the life of Attorney Woo, who is on the autism spectrum and has managed to secure a job at one of the biggest and most sought-after legal firms in the country. There she learns how to navigate working in the busy world of judges, lawyers and criminals. Alongside that, she even ends up encountering love in the office as well.
