My connection with God is personal

Bigg Boss fame Falaq Naaz is observing Ramzan with deep personal devotion. She believes the holy month is about self-discipline and introspection, not public display. Naaz avoids social media for her prayers, considering it a private connection with Allah. She finds joy in fasting, even with a demanding work schedule.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Falaq Naaz is observing the holy month of Ramzan with a deeply personal approach. “Ramazan is the most sacred and beautiful month. The relationship that you have with your God this month is so personal.

I feel there is something between you and God that helps you survive all the tiredness and everything,” she tells Mumbai Mirror. For Naaz, the essence of Ramzan lies in self-discipline and introspection rather than outward display.

“When no one is watching — especially in moments of anger or exhaustion — the choices you make define you. Controlling yourself, choosing good, and waking up to pray despite fatigue is what truly matters,” she says.Addressing the pressure that often comes with being a public figure, Naaz says, “As someone in the public eye, do I feel a responsibility to represent Ramzan in a certain way, especially on social media? No. I don’t do anything for social media. I am very particular about this. I occasionally share pictures of me praying. I don’t like filming myself during prayer or worship because it is something between me and Allah. I don’t want a third person involved in that.”Despite a demanding work schedule, Naaz finds joy in fasting. “The first few days can be challenging — especially for someone like me who deals with migraines — but after that, it starts to feel easier and even enjoyable. Fasting while working — that’s the real test. That’s true worship — balancing your responsibilities with your devotion,” she ends.
