The Agriculture Department has appealed to the farmers who are eligible for financial assistance under the Annadata Sukhibhava-PM Kisan scheme but have not yet received the benefit to make use of the grievance module before August 20.

“Applications can be submitted at the Rythu Seva Kendras,” said Dilli Rao, Director of Agriculture, in a press release on Sunday.

Mr. Dilli Rao said that farmers whose applications had been rejected during the higher-level verification and validation, or those who had failed to complete the eKYC, must file their grievances before the deadline.

During the first phase of the process held from July 5 to 27, eligible farmers were identified and their benefits credited to their accounts along with the regular beneficiaries, he said. Even after the initial fund release, the government provided a second chance for grievances from August 3 to 20.

Families with agricultural land and forest land cultivators were provided a total of ₹7,000 — ₹5,000 from the State government and ₹2,000 under the Central government’s PM Kisan scheme. The benefit was credited on August 2.

Beneficiary identification was based on the data from the Revenue WebLand portal (landowners) and the Forest Department’s Giribhoomi portal (forest cultivators). Verification was conducted at the village level and validated at the State level through the Annadata Sukhibhava portal. Beneficiary lists were displayed at the Rythu Seva Kendras, while farmers could also check their status online, or through the Mana Mitra WhatsApp service, he said.

The grievance module, first opened between July 5 and 27, allowed rejected, or unverified farmers, to submit their applications. Their cases were reviewed and eligible farmers received the benefit, Mr. Dilli Rao said.

Considering repeated requests, the government reopened the module from August 3 to 20, providing one final opportunity for farmers to apply with supporting documents.

With the deadline approaching, agriculture officers were directed to raise awareness and assist the farmers in availing of the scheme, he added.
