Fatima Sana Shaikh: If a couple has the same emotional intelligence, then the age gap doesn’t matter’

Fatima Sana Shaikh, who portrayed a woman falling for a man (R Madhavan) who’s fairly older to her in recently released Aap Jaisa Koi on OTT, believes that age is not a barrier in relationships — as long as one key factor exists.

Speaking about it, she says, “As long as the emotional intelligence matches it doesn’t matter even if the boy is 10 years younger than me. The emotional intelligence has to be of the same level. Yeh age difference wala cheez toh bohot sadiyon se hota aa raha hai.”The actress expressed her excitement about working with R Madhavan, someone she admired for his role in Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. She shares, “I’m so lucky. I keep telling him that I got to play a role where I am romancing him, but in an appropriate manner because it’s written in a certain way. The chemistry was organic.”She further added, “He’s a brilliant actor. But because he is also a director himself, the scenes got enhanced. Whenever I gave him cues, he would encourage me to do more.”
