'Fearless' Felix Baumgartner Passes Away In Paraglide Crash

Felix Baumgartner met his untimely end in Italy on Thursday as the extreme athlete passed away following a crash along the eastern coast of the peninsular nation.

Baumgartner, the first man to brave the 24-mile leap through the stratosphere over a decade ago, was a victim of a paraglide crash as he smacked into the side of a swimming pool in Porto Sant’Elpidio.
