German giants Borussia Dortmund moved into the quarterfinals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 with a win over Mexican side Monterrey at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia on Wednesday.

Serhou Guirassy’s brace helped Dortmund to a 2-1 win as German Berterame’s second-half strike for the Mexican outfit went in vain.

Dortmund are slated to take on Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid in the quarterfinal of the event at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on the 6th of July with a place in the semis of the revamped tournament up for grabs.
