Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid edged out Italian side Juventus in the Round of 16 fixture at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in the USA on Wednesday.
Gonzalo Garcia’s lone strike in the second half of the game at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami helped the La Liga side move into the quarterfinals of the revamped edition of the tournament.
The 21-year-old put the ball in the back of the net in the 54th minute as he rose highest to meet the cross in from new full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold to register the telling touch.
