She was the wife of acclaimed cinematographer Pravin Bhatt, one of the most respected technicians in Indian cinema.Her husband, Pravin Bhatt, is a legendary cameraman who has worked on iconic films such as Sadak (1991), Agneepath (1990), Aashiqui (1990), Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin (1991). He has played a major role in shaping the visual language for generations to come. Her son, Vikram Bhatt, emerged as a successful filmmaker in the 1990s and early 2000s with films across genres.
