A fire broke out in one of the coaches of the Amritsar-Saharsa Garib Rath Express at Sirhind Junction in Punjab. Passengers were evacuated and the situation was controlled.

A fire was noticed in one of the coaches of train number 12204 Amritsar-Saharsa Garib Rath Express on Saturday morning, while the train was at the Sirhind Junction in Punjab.
As an alarm was raised, the passengers were shifted to other coaches to ensure everyone’s safety.
The situation was soon under control, and no casualties were reported.
A video of the incident showed passengers on the railway track, as smoke could be seen in one of the coaches of the train.
The train is expected to depart for its destination shortly.
The cause of the fire was yet to be determined.
