Five accused in assault on CJP founder granted bail in Jaipur

Jaipur: A local court Tuesday granted bail to five men accused of assaulting Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Deepke during a protest at Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur.The accused, detained by police Monday over breach-of-peace charges, were released on personal bonds of Rs 20,000 each with restrictions for six months, said advocate Basant Parik.Police said an argument during the demonstration escalated into a physical altercation. The incident gained attention after videos of the clash circulated on social media.
