Flight Cancellations LIVE Updates: Flight cancellations mounted across West Asia routes as escalating tensions in the region continued to disrupt air travel. The turmoil follows a drone attack on the US embassy in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh, intensifying an already volatile security situation and prompting airlines to suspend or curtail services across key corridors linking India with the Gulf.

Several Indian carriers have either paused operations or reduced frequencies to destinations including Abu Dhabi, Doha, Jeddah, Kuwait and Riyadh, while foreign airlines operating between Indian cities and West Asian hubs have also announced suspensions. At Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, 36 departures and 44 arrivals were cancelled amid delays to multiple westbound international flights. Bengaluru reported 44 cancellations while Kolkata saw at least 10 international services called off as airlines reassessed safety and routing conditions.
