Sohee, formerly from ALICE, has been known to be a major ballplayer in the entertainment industry; however, she left behind the stardom to live a peaceful life. Recently, she has been a target of malicious and demeaning comments online.

Sohee takes strict action against false allegations and malicious comments

On July 30, the former idol revealed that she had been receiving false and malicious comments, after which she had to take prompt action and report them. According to an online social media post, she shared that after filing a complaint, the case has been forwarded to the appropriate investigative authorities.

While delving into what had happened, she shared that she had come across false and demeaning content about her being posted on an account that regularly targets celebrities. She had received a tip and had inquired into the account. After warning the account holder repeatedly, but to no avail, as he did not take down any posts, she had to resort to legal action.“They posted absurd stories about me working at a bar and fabricated screenshots of conversations claiming that they saw me working somewhere. They even mentioned my family and threatened me”, she added during the report. She added in her post, “I don't think that shaking someone's life with false facts can ever be taken lightly. I may not be exaggerating at first because it's not true, but I realised that such silence is rather a world where rumours are accepted as truth”She also thanked people for their support, even after she retired from the entertainment industry after getting married.
