Michael Beasley has been making headlines due to his recent one-on-one match with Lance Stephenson, where he emerged victorious. It is without a doubt that Beasley is one of the greatest one-on-one players in the league.
However, there’s a one-on-one match whose results every NBA fan wants to know: the one between Beasley and his former teammate, the four-time MVP, LeBron James. Beasley recently revealed the results of the match on a livestream where he admitted that he “blew out” James, leaving the hosts in shock.
Michael Beasley shares the results of one-on-one matches with LeBron James
Beasley and James go way back to 2013-14 when they were teammates in the Miami Heat. They played several matches together and reunited again in Los Angeles Lakers during the 2018-19 season. As per sources, both players were quite competitive and had several one-on-one matches. But who won those matches? In a recent live stream with Adin Ross, Beasley revealed that he won the one-on-one match against James.
When asked whether he “blew out” the MVP, he admitted that it was true.“Yeah. I mean, the story is told wrong, but just know it's legit,” said Beasley.
When prompted to say the score of the one-on-one, Beasley replied that it was “A lot to a little,” indicating that he overpowered James during the match. Whether Beasley was bluffing or speaking the truth cannot be said for sure because nobody has seen them during those one-on-one matches.
However, Beasley has proven time and again that he is a great player despite being out of the NBA. On top of that, various players have praised him for his one-on-one showdowns and skills as a player. His recent one-on-one match with Stephenson is greatly talked about where the No. 2 pick of the 2008 NBA draft defeated the former Pacers player with a 31-21 score. His abilities showcased how well-versed a player he is despite not being in the NBA.
On the other hand, James is getting criticized for his performance. Despite having a successful career as compared to Beasley, James still has to struggle to maintain momentum in the game. The MVP has not yet made any comment to Beasley’s statement and it remains to be seen whether he will do that or not. Also Read: Lance Stephenson - Michael Beasley face-off turns ugly with raunchy comments from former Los Angeles Lakers’ forward
