The Oklahoma City Thunder once again dominated Game 2 of the NBA Finals from the start and took a significant lead over the Indiana Pacers towards the fourth quarter. With a lead of almost 18 points, it has become quite a task for the Pacers to catch up and showcase another stunning comeback victory against the Thunder.
While everyone in the stadium waits impatiently as each team continues to get a score, all eyes are on Chris Paul and his son, Chris Paul II, as the duo attends the match.
Currently a point guard for the San Antonio Spurs, Paul was previously a part of the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2019 to 2020, before he moved on to the Phoenix Suns. Paul’s tenure with the Thunder was a short one, but it is considered career-defining for the player.
Paul became a part of the team as part of a trade-off when the Houston Rockets traded the player to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Russell Westbrook.
At that time, the Thunder were in a state of rebuilding themselves from scratch. The Point God led the team to some of the most interesting and high-octane matchups that season. The Thunder secured a playoff against the Houston Rockets after landing themselves in the fifth position.
Even though the team eventually lost the playoffs, Paul led the team to a 3-3 position towards the end of Game 6 with an electrifying performance.
