Everything you need to know about the Blade of Champions Cup in Fortnite

On the occasion of Fortnite Global Championship, the game is hosting yet another in-game tournament, Blade of Champions Cup. As the name suggests, players will be rewarded with the Blade of Champions Pickaxe if they manage to ace this tournament.

This Pickaxe is arguably the most rare and prestigious in-game item in Fortnite and is awarded to teams that win the Fortnite Champions Series. So, there’s no donut that fans will be jumping into the upcoming cup to grab this Pickaxe.

Fortnite Blade of Champions Cup rewards and how to get them

Just like the Solo Blitz Mobile Cup, players have to secure top spots in the regional leaderboards in order to obtain the Blade of Champions Pickaxe along with additional rewards. And they can do that by participating in this tournament in a team of two and scoring the most points. Here are the regional breakdowns for the top teams:

Alongside the Pickaxe, the top teams from each region will also be rewarded with the Champion’s Blade-Splitter Emote.

However, if players don’t manage to be in the aforementioned spot, then they shouldn’t be disappointed because scoring just 8 points in this cup would also grant them the Blade of Champions spray.

Fortnite Blade of Champions format and schedule

The Blade of Champions Cup is going to be a one-day tournament which will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025. However, the exact timing is yet to be revealed by Fortnite. This cup is going to be a part of the ongoing Champions Road event and will be set in the Reload mode, where players need to take part in Duos. The whole Blade of Champions Cup is divided into two rounds, lasting 45 minutes each. The top players in the first round, will go head-to-head in the second round. Read More:
