Epic Games and Netflix have officially confirmed the return of Stranger Things to Fortnite. This crossover is set to arrive on November 24, 2025, arriving just before the premiere of the fifth and final season of the popular series.
Essentially, this is the franchise’s second collaboration with the battle royale experience, and it is set to be bigger, with more content and themed cosmetics. There has already been a trailer revealed via the social media handles, and it showcases a Stranger Things-themed map in Fortnite. The Upside Down Blitz Map
The main attraction of the Fortnite Stranger Things collaboration is the new Upside Down map designed specifically for Blitz mode.
Epic Games has recently uploaded a teaser on their social media handles, and it displayed the dark, corrupted version of Hawkins, with the Mind Flayer hovering above the island. It perfectly captured the show's signature parallel dimension and will be quite fun to play. You can expect the Upside Down Blitz map to introduce new weapons exclusive to this mode. There could possibly be special boons and medallions also being introduced to elevate the overall gameplay experience in Fortnite.
Confirmed and rumored skins
The collaboration between Fortnite and Stranger Things is set to introduce a variety of cosmetics, starting with the Eddie Munson-inspired Peely skin. This crossover variant features Peely dressed as the beloved character from the series. It also had "The Seven" badge icon, which has sparked further speculation about The Seven faction's potential return in the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 7.Beyond the Eddie Peely skin, fans have been anticipating the arrival of The Party members from Stranger Things, i.e.,
Mike Wheeler, Will Byers, Dustin Henderson, and Lucas Sinclair as playable Fortnite outfits. Other anticipated additions include Vecna, who was the antagonist of Season 4. Fans are also looking forward to a Steve Harrington skin in Fortnite. The collaboration will extend beyond the general character skins, and the developers will likely introduce complete cosmetic bundles, featuring emotes, back bling, pickaxes, and other accessories. Further details will be unveiled in the coming days as the November 24 launch of the crossover draws closer. Lastly, you can expect the skins from Fortnite's original Stranger Things crossover to possibly return. The first collaboration during Chapter 1 essentially introduced the Demogorgon and Chief Hopper skins, which were quite good.
