Where to find the chest and claim 100,000 Credits

Players trying to complete the Tokyo City Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 6 may find it one of the most difficult challenges in the current Spring Festival Playlist. The clue image points to a shipping container yard, but that description matches a large part of the Tokyo City region, making the treasure chest difficult to locate.

However, players who find and smash the chest can earn 100,000 Credits, 5,000 XP and three Festival Playlist points. The challenge is available during the Spring Season and must be completed before the playlist rotates on June 18.

Where is the Tokyo City Treasure Hunt chest

The treasure chest is in the container port area, on the east side of the Tokyo City region. Players can fast travel to the Tokyo City Docks drift zone to get close to the location. From there, a row of warehouses can be seen nearby. The chest is hidden within a warehouse route that requires players to navigate ramps, rooftops and narrow catwalks. The correct warehouse is located near the waterfront and is part of the large shipping container yard. How to reach the treasure chestFinding the chest is only part of the challenge. Reaching it requires a specific route through the warehouse complex.

Players should start by driving up the ramp attached to the first warehouse near the drift zone. After gaining speed, they need to jump across a gap onto a nearby catwalk. From there, players must follow the exterior walkways around the warehouse while maintaining control of their vehicle. The route includes several jumps, narrow sections and a steep ramp leading to the rooftop. After crossing the rooftop, players need to follow the track down and enter a warehouse through a large door.

Inside, a narrow steel walkway leads to another exit. The treasure chest can be found on the platform directly outside that door.Smashing the chest completes the challenge.

Players should be careful on catwalk sections

The warehouse route contains several elevated catwalks with limited space for error. Some corners do not have guardrails. Driving too fast can cause a vehicle to fall off the edge, forcing players to restart the approach. Maintaining moderate speed on turns while accelerating on straight sections can make the challenge easier to complete.

Rewards for completing the challenge

Players who successfully find and destroy the chest will receive:

  1. 100,000 Credits
  2. 5,000 XP
  3. 3 Festival Playlist points

The points contribute toward Spring Season progression and can help unlock seasonal reward cars. The Spring Season currently offers two reward vehicles for players who collect enough playlist points. The first reward is the Toyota Starlet Glanza V 1996, which requires 15 points. The second is the Toyota Corolla SR5 1974, which requires 30 points. While the Treasure Hunt contributes three points toward those totals, players will need to complete additional Spring Season activities to unlock both cars.Challenge available for a limited timeThe Tokyo City Treasure Hunt is part of the Spring Season in the Welcome to Japan Series 1 Festival Playlist. The challenge will remain available until June 18, when the playlist switches to the Summer Season and a new series of challenges begins. Players who want the rewards should complete the Treasure Hunt before the seasonal reset.
