Foundation stone laid for Ayurvedic hospital in Sri City

Foundation stone was laid for Sri Tulasi Ayurvedic Hospital, the first of its kind to be established in the Sri City industrial zone of Tirupati district, on Monday (October 13, 2025). A ‘Bhoomi Puja’ was also performed in the presence of Sri City’s Director (CSR) Nireesha Sannareddy and Vice-President (Customer Relations) C. Ramesh Kumar.

According to Dr. N. Sivaprasad, Managing Director, Sri Tulasi Ayurvedic Hospital, the project involving an initial investment of ₹75 lakh will include an in-patient facility with ten beds and specialised outpatient services. Expected to be operational by Ugadi next year, the hospital will cater to the healthcare needs of local communities, while offering specialised treatments like Prasuti Tantra (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) and Kayachikitsa (General Medicine).

“The hospital has the potential to become a regional Panchakarma wellness centre as Sri City’s natural ecosystem offers a unique setting for holistic healing,” said Ms. Nireesha Sannareddy.
