Four of family found dead at home in Nalgonda, probe underway

Four members of a family were found dead inside their house in Telangana Colony under the Nalgonda One Town police station limits, with the bodies discovered in a decomposed state after residents alerted police of foul smell emanating from the premises. The deceased were identified as Mohammed Sultan, his wife Haseena and two other family members.

According to preliminary findings, the deaths are believed to have occurred around four days before the bodies were discovered. Haseena was reportedly employed as a teacher at a private school, while Sultan was engaged in the bag business in the Prakasham Bazaar area.

Nalgonda district Superintendent of Police Sharath Chandra Pawar visited the scene and reviewed the situation. He directed officials to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and ascertain the circumstances leading to the deaths.

The Clues Team and forensic experts were pressed into service to collect evidence from the scene. Police said all possible angles are being examined as part of the investigation.

The bodies were shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem examination. Officials said the exact cause of death would be determined based on the post-mortem findings and forensic analysis.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway. Police said complete details surrounding the incident are yet to emerge.
