Global leaders joined in the Diwali spirit, reflecting the festival’s universal message of hope, unity, and renewal as celebrations lit up hearts across the world.

As homes and balconies across India shine bright with diyas and festive lights, the spirit of Diwali has reached corners of the world. Extending their heartfelt greetings, global leaders — including UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed,Tesla CEO Elon Musk and other leaders — have joined in celebrating the Festival of Lights, sending warm wishes to Indians across the globe marking the occasion with joy and togetherness.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese shared a warm message on the occasion, writing, “As you gather to celebrate the great festival of lights, may this special time uplift you with hope for a bright future. May it be an absolutely wonderful celebration."

Dubai’s ruler and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed shared a heartfelt message for the Indian community. He wrote, “Warmest wishes and greetings to those celebrating Diwali in the UAE and around the world. May this festival of lights bring peace, safety, and prosperity to you and your loved ones. Happy Diwali."

Singapore Prime Minister’s Diwali Greetings

Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong extended Diwali greetings sharing a heartfelt video on X.

“Light over darkness. Hope over fear. As we count down to Deepavali, we celebrate not just the lights that fill our homes, but the meaning they carry in our hearts. Wishing everyone a bright and meaningful Festival of Lights ahead," he said.
