They have also shared moments of gratitude and held high-profile meals, such as for Amazon/Saks in the Hamptons. Now, it seems like Wade and Union are still in their "Wade World Tour” mode. They recently visited Yamashiro Miami, a Japanese restaurant in the heart of Miami for a cozy dinner date on Wade’s birthday.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade have returned from their holiday vacation. The Wade World Tour visited Japan this time.

Over the past few weeks, the two have shared posts about their enjoyable adventures and the much-needed Christmas season, which is filled with appreciation and thankfulness. Additionally, the former NBA player shared videos of the pair having their final lunch together in Osaka, Japan. Furthermore, it appears that they are still in love with Japanese cuisine after returning from their vacation. The couple recently visited a Japanese restaurant, Yamashiro Miami, to share a meal and celebrate the Miami legend’s birthday. The restaurant uploaded a picture of the couple on their Instagram and wrote in the caption: “A celebration above the city. Honored to welcome Dwyane Wade and his beautiful wife Gabrielle Union to Yamashiro Miami for a special birthday evening. Happy Birthday to a true legend… Thank you for choosing us to be part of the moment…”

The pair is shown in the photo sitting comfortably at a hardwood table with sophisticated dishes, menus, and a sizable platter of seafood set on ice in the middle.

Wade was spotted placing his hand on the table while wearing a tight beige long-sleeve shirt. Union, on the other hand, was seen casually leaning next to him with her hand on his shoulder while wearing a light-colored sleeveless top with delicate motifs. The image from the right shows the hand of a server clutching a bottle of champagne. Once the restaurant uploaded the picture on their social media, the actress shared the picture on her Instagram Stories and captioned it:“Incredible dinner last night in Miami! Thank you @mattthealchemist for making the connect!”

Wade and Union’s love for cozy dinners has followed them from Japan to Miami

This wasn’t the first time the NBA and the actress shared a cozy dinner together.

They even did the same during their Wade World Tour of 2025. They chose to visit a well-known burger restaurant in one of Osaka's markets as a genuine way to round off their trip. It was the Time Out Market's Critters Burger. On it, they even created a reel. Gabrielle later shared the footage on her Instagram story. It showed Dwyane and the American actress eating hamburgers at an Osaka restaurant. It was Critter Burgers, a well-known Osaka burger restaurant renowned for its superior, American-style burgers.

This was the ideal way to end one of their most memorable journeys.A few months ago, in August 2025, the couple also hosted a dinner party for Saks on Amazon. The dinner's light fish entrée and kale salad went well with the evening's carefree elegance.
