Digital transformation solutions provider to architecture, engineering, construction and operations (AEC/O) industry Nemetschek Group on Tuesday opened a global capability centre in Hyderabad.

The expansion, in addition to its existing operations, will serve as a hub for advanced research, innovative software development and collaboration with global teams. The new GCC will house the company’s research and development teams, security operations centre (SOC) and key general and administrative (G&A) functions, bringing together multiple capabilities under one roof. With the capacity to accommodate over 250 full-time employees, this facility further underscores Nemetschek’s commitment to strengthen presence in one of India’s most dynamic technology ecosystems, the company said.

Founder of ISF Foundation Hyderabad former chief secretary and IT advisor to Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh J.A. Chowdhary and chief financial officer of Nemetschek Group Louise Öfverström participated in the inauguration of the GCC. Sources said the company has on boarded 200 people for the GCC and will recruit 50 more soon.
