The Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation (A.P.-MSMEDC) is organising a Global MSME Export Development Convention 2025 in Visakhapatnam on November 9 and 10.

It is a part of the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet initiative of the Central Government’s Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme which is supported by the World Bank.

“The event is being held in collaboration with the India SME Forum,” according to an official release. It seeks to open new global trade avenues for the State’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.

Thirty-four international buyers from 16 countries, including Russia, Sri Lanka, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Austria, Japan, New Zealand, Egypt, Bahrain, Nepal, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Togo, and Kenya are participating in the convention.

They will explore sourcing opportunities in diverse sectors such as automobile components, food and beverages, electronics, sanitaryware, agro machinery, IT services, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, textiles, and apparels.

The convention will feature buyer sessions, pre-scheduled B2B meetings, and direct networking opportunities, allowing MSMEs to showcase their strengths and secure sustainable export partnerships. It is open for Udyam-registered, export-ready MSMEs from across Andhra Pradesh, shortlisted through a transparent process to ensure equitable representation across sectors.

Emphasising the significance of the initiative, Minister for MSMEs, Kondapalli Srinivas said the convention marks a major milestone under the RAMP Scheme, offering local entrepreneurs a direct gateway to international trade. He noted that the initiative reflects the visionary leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, whose guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in shaping Andhra Pradesh’s MSME ecosystem through his One Family One Entrepreneur and Swarna Andhra 2047 Missions.

Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation Chairman T. Siva Sankara Rao described the convention as a strategic step towards building export competitiveness and integrating MSMEs into global supply chains.
