Global Startup Summit in Coimbatore attracted ₹127 crore in investments, says T.N. government

The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday (October 18, 2025) said the two-day Tamil Nadu Global Startup Summit (TNGSS) 2025, inaugurated by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in Coimbatore on October 9, was a huge success, laying the foundation for startups to contribute to the Chief Minister’s vision of a $1 trillion economy.

The event saw participation from 45 countries, 72,278 visitors, abd 115 investors. As many as 23 memoranda of understanding were signed, and investments to the tune of ₹127.09 crore were attracted. Many MoUs are expected to be signed in the coming months, an official release said.

MoUs were exchanged with France’s Link Innovations, Canada’s RXN Hub and Asia Berlin (Germany), among others, which would enable global market access for startups in Tamil Nadu. It will also provide quality business development training and skill upgradation training, the release added.
