PSG midfield starlet Desire Doue was named the European Golden Boy 2025 winner on Tuesday in a befitting nod to the exceptional talent of the Frenchman.

The 20-year-old Angers-born wunderkind inspired the Parisian Capital City club to the UEFA Champions League title with a spellbinding showing in the final of the elite European competition.

Doue led the PSG’s decimation job of Italian giants Inter Milan in the final as the Frenchman became the youngest player to both score and assist in a UCL final and the youngest player to strike twice in a final in the 21st century.

Doue succeeds Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal in the roll of honors that boasts of some legendary names including the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi.

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham clinched the title in 2023, after the Barcelona pair of Pedri and Gavi were named the respective recipients of 2021 and 2022.
