GoM to ensure successful conduct of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s birth centenary fete

The Andhra Pradesh Government has formed a Group of Ministers for the successful conduct of the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba as a State function at Puttaparthi on November 23, 2025.

A G.O. released to this effect on Thursday designated the Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture Department as the nodal department to coordinate with all other government wings for the successful conduct of the celebrations.

Minister for Revenue A. Satya Prasad is the Chairman of the GoM, while Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav, B.C. Welfare Minister S. Savitha, Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh and Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy are its members.

Special Chief Secretary, Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture Department, is the onvener of the Group of Ministers and will coordinate the committee proceedings, says the GO.
