Google has unveiled a new AI-powered makeup feature for Google Meet, expanding its suite of appearance-enhancing tools to help users feel more confident and expressive during video calls.
The update builds on last year’s “Portrait Touch-Up” feature and introduces 12 studio-quality makeup looks that adapt naturally to users’ facial movements.The new feature allows users to choose from a range of styles—from subtle professional touches to bold, expressive looks. Powered by AI, the makeup remains seamless and realistic, even during everyday actions like sipping coffee or touching the face. Google Product Manager Daniela demonstrated how the makeup adjusts to her unique features while maintaining a natural appearance throughout the call.
Easy to use across devices

- Users can enable the feature manually (off by default)
- Makeup preferences are saved for future meetings
- No admin action required for deployment
Users can access the feature through the Google Meet settings and select from the 12 available options. The rollout began on October 8, 2025, and will be gradually available to eligible domains over the next 15 days.
