Government appoints G. Prakash as CMDA’s Member Secretary

IAS officer G. Prakash is set to assume office as the Member Secretary of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority. A G.O. to this effect was issued by the Tamil Nadu government on Monday.

The government also posted H.R. Koushik as the Greater Chennai Corporation’s (GCC) Regional Deputy Commissioner (Central). Aftab Rasool has been posted as GCC’s Regional Deputy Commissioner (South) with full additional charge as Chief Executive Officer of Tamil Nadu Waqf Board.

V.P. Jayaseelan has been named GCC’s Joint Commissioner (Health). R. Saranya has been posted as Commissioner of Avadi Corporation.

Rajendra Ratnoo (On his return from Central deputation) is set to take over as Member Secretary of the Chennai Rivers Restoration Trust, and as the Managing Director of Chennai Rivers Transformation Company Ltd.
