Government Whip and Kadapa MLA Reddeppagari Madhavi Reddy on Thursday announced that the NDA Alliance regime will leave no stone unturned to improve the livings standards of the people.
Speaking after distributing cheques worth ₹5.02 crore to chosen street vendors under “PM SVANidhi Sankalp Abhiyan” here, she said that the scheme was meant to better the lives of the poor and needy, who were struggling to eke out a livelihood.
“Directions have been given to the staff of the Collectorate, Municipal Corporation and the banks to work in tandem to ensure extension of the scheme to every eligible street vendor’s family,” Ms. Madhavi Reddy said.
TDP Politburo member and Kadapa district president R. Sreenivasa Reddy said that the funds meant for improving their infra needs or expanding their operations would go a long way in ensuring a sustainable source of livelihood.
