Governor R.N. Ravi on Tuesday paid floral tributes to the portrait of freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the Raj Bhavan in Chennai. The tribute commemorated the anniversary of establishing the provisional Government of Free India on this date in 1943 under his leadership, according to a communication from the Raj Bhavan. Earlier in the day, Lieutenant General V. Sreehari, General Officer Commanding, Dakshin Bharat Area, called on Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at the Secretariat in Chennai.
