'Govinda rushed to the hospital after he fainted, is now under medical observation,' confirms his family friend and lawyer

Actor Govinda has been hospitalised after reportedly collapsing at his Juhu residence late last night. The 61-year-old actor, was rushed to CritiCare Hospital in suburban Mumbai, his longtime legal advisor and close friend Lalit Bindal confirmed."He fainted in the evening and called me. I brought him CritiCare hospital. He is under observation and undergoing tests," Bindal said, adding that doctors are currently monitoring his condition.Govinda, who became synonymous with dance, humor, and larger-than-life entertainment, was last seen in Rangeela Raja (2019). Though he’s been selective with his work in recent years, the actor has often spoken about exploring new projects and even hinted at returning to the screen in a fresh avatar.Known for unforgettable performances in films like Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1, Raja Babu, and Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Govinda remains one of Hindi cinema’s most beloved entertainers. A while ago as well, Govinda had a health scare when he accidently shot himself in the foot. He was admitted to the hospital and was back in a few days after recovery.
