Govt. appoints chairpersons for various temple boards in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced the appointment of chairpersons for various temple boards and presidents of the Local Advisory Committees (LACs) of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

The list of chairpersons, with the temple in brackets, is as follows: Pothugunta Ramesh Naidu (Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Devasthanam); Kotte Sai Prasad (Sri Kalahasteeswara Swamy Devasthanam); V. Surendra Babu (Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Devasthanam); Borra Radhakrishna (Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam); Mudunuri Venkata Raju (Sri Venkateswara Temple, Vadapalli).

The list of presidents for the TTD’s Local Advisory Committees is as follows: A.V. Reddy, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad; Nemuri Shankar Goud, Himayatnagar, Hyderabad; Veeranjaneyulu, Bengaluru; Edugundla Sumanth Reddy, Delhi; Gautam Singhania, Mumbai; Venkata Pattabhiram Chode, Visakhapatnam.

These appointments are expected to strengthen the administration of temples, ensure transparency, and enhance facilities for devotees. The move also signals the government’s focus on connecting with devotees across India and reinforcing the role of temples as cultural and spiritual hubs.
