Govt asks for suggestions for Viksit Goa vision

Panaji: As part of the consultation process to prepare the vision document for Viksit Goa, govt has sought suggestions and inputs from locals. Govt has asked for specific inputs on the economy, agriculture, health, and education, among others.The public can share their suggestions and opinions by giving a missed call at 9953953333. The inputs need to align with the Centre’s goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047, said the directorate of planning and statistics, which is spearheading the process to prepare the vision document.“This vision document will be prepared based on five pillars: infrastructure, physical, economic, social, institutional infrastructure, and environmental infrastructure. It is to be developed in three phases — vision for 2030, 2037, and 2047,” said a department official. Viksit Goa is govt’s vision to make Goa a completely developed state by 2037, with a special focus on youth, the poor, women, and farmers.
