Govt. releases ₹50.50 crore Christmas gift for pastors in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh Government has announced a special Christmas gift for pastors. Following Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s assurance that the monthly honorarium for them would be credited in time for the festival, the government on Wednesday released a sum of ₹50.50 crore for 8,418 pastors, covering the period from December 2024 to November 2025. Each pastor would receive a monthly honorarium of ₹5,000, totalling ₹60,000 for the 12 months, a press release said.
