Groom Allu Sirish REACTS to Nayanika Reddy’s pre-wedding ritual video; says ‘I wish the groom could attend’

Telugu actor Allu Sirish younger brother of Allu Arjun, is set to marry his fiancée Nayanika Reddy today, March 6. Ahead of their wedding, the bride shared a special video from her traditional pre-wedding rituals on social media.

Nayanika Reddy shares video from the ceremony

Nayanika Reddy took to Instagram on Thursday night to share a video from her Mailapolu and Mangalasnanam ceremonies. These are traditional Telugu rituals that take place before the wedding.

In the video, Nayanika Reddy can be seen seated happily surrounded by her family members, who are applying turmeric paste to her. The ritual is a part of the Mailapolu ceremony.

Later, the clip shows everyone pouring water over her as part of the Mangalasnanam ritual. These wholesome moments of laughter and joy seem to have generated the feeling of FOMO for the groom.

Allu Sirish’s sweet reaction

Allu Sirish reshared it on his Instagram stories. In a sweet and playful way, he wrote, “I wish the tradition allowed the groom to attend this event!” In many Telugu wedding traditions, the bride and groom usually celebrate some rituals separately with their families.

Because of this, Allu Sirish could not attend Nayanika Reddy’s ceremony.

While sharing the video, Nayanika Reddy wrote that when a 90s kid becomes a bride, there is only one acceptable soundtrack for the Mailapolu and Mangalasnanam rituals. The video featured the song, ‘Allo Nerello’ sung by Ganga and M. M. Keeravani.

Grand pre-wedding reception in Hyderabad

Before the wedding, the family hosted a pre-wedding reception at Allu Studios in Hyderabad. The event was attended by many popular names in the Telugu cinema.Interestingly, he will share the same wedding date as his elder brother Allu Arjun, as the ‘Pushpa’ actor tied the knot with Sneha Reddy on March 6 years ago.
