Guarantee schemes have benefited crores of people, says CM

As the Karnataka government’s Shakti scheme crossed 500 crore trips, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah celebrated the occasion in a ceremony in Indi in Vijayapura district on Monday.

To mark the occasion, he performed pooja to buses, issued tickets, and interacted with women beneficiaries in the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) bus stand in Indi.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the Congress had kept its promise of implementing the five guarantees and that they had been successfully implemented, benefiting crores of poor people. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Ministers H.C. Mahadevappa, Dinesh Gundu Rao, M.B. Patil, H.K. Patil, Shivanand S. Patil, Sharan Prakash Patil, MLA Yashwantrayagouda Patil, and guarantee committee members, among other leaders, were present.
