Gurgaon shocker: Migrant labourer hung upside down, beaten with stick; 4 held

GURGAON: After a shocking viral video in which a group of men were seen beating a migrant labourer with a stick while the latter was hung upside down, Gurgaon police have booked four persons in the case.The video according to the sources is of a building in sector 37-C.Gurgaon Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar claimed that police did not receive any complaint in the case. “The victim did not contact police or neither we received any complaint but taking cognisance of the video, we have registered a case and arrested the culprits”, ASI Sandeep said.

In the video the victim can be heard crying, and screaming in pain while pleading for mercy, a man can be seen hitting him with a stick while others support the act standing nearby.A security guard can be seen trying to intervene but to no avail.Police will soon hold a press conference in the case.
