Guruvayur Devaswom files complaint against Bigg Boss Malayalam fame Jasmin Jaffar for filming reel at Temple pond

The Guruvayur Devaswom has filed an official complaint against former Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 contestant and fashion influencer Jasmin Jaffar for allegedly violating temple protocols by filming a video at the sacred temple pond.The complaint, lodged with the Guruvayur Temple Police, accuses Jasmin of shooting and posting a video on her Instagram account three days ago, in which she is seen washing her feet at the pond located within the temple premises. According to Devaswom authorities, filming reels or any kind of video content at the temple pond is strictly prohibited without prior permission, as the area is considered part of the sanctified grounds of the Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple.The temple pond, also known as the Rudratheertham, holds religious significance as it is where the aaraattu (ritual bathing) of Lord Krishna is performed during temple festivals. Non-Hindus are not permitted entry into this area, and photography or videography is banned to maintain the sanctity of the space.The complaint was formally submitted by the Devaswom administrator, who expressed concern over the growing trend of social media influencers using sacred spaces for content creation without respecting religious protocols.

Police officials confirmed receipt of the complaint and stated that a statement has been submitted before the court.
