In a shocking turn of events, a seemingly ordinary couple from Gwalior has been arrested for allegedly running a drug racket targeting local youth. Acting on a tip-off, the Sirol police raided their residence and recovered over seven kilograms of ganja, exposing their role in the illegal drug trade.
Reports indicated a sharp rise in ganja addiction among youth in Sirol, Futi Colony, and Hurawali, with a husband-wife duo identified as key players in the drug distribution network.
When the police reached Sirol Colony based on the tip-off, they found a crowd gathered outside Rajveer Jatav’s house. As the officers arrived, the onlookers quickly dispersed, while Rajveer Jatav and his wife Suman rushed inside in an attempt to avoid the police.
During the search of the house, Sirol police recovered seven kilograms of ganja. Interrogation revealed that Rajveer Jatav and his wife Suman had been selling the drug to local youth. Both have been booked under the NDPS Act and are now being questioned about the broader network involved in ganja smuggling and supply.
