Alexander Bublik got the better of Daniil Medvedev on Sunday in the final of the Halle Open in the lead up to this year’s edition of Wimbledon.
The Kazakh registered a 6-3, 7-6 (7/4) triumph over Medvedev to claim his fifth ATP title. The win was also Bublik’s first against the Russian in the seven meetings between the two.

Bublik, who also clinched the Halle crown in 2023, has previously managed to win the titles at Montpellier in 2022 and 2024 and Antwerp in 2023.
