Harrison Bader hit a home run on Friday, September 6, 2025, during the Philadelphia Phillies’ game against the Miami Marlins at LoanDepot Park in Miami. The ball was caught by Drew Feltwell, who gave it to his 10-year-old son, Lincoln, as a special birthday gift.

But soon after, a woman popularly called ‘Phillies Karen’ confronted them and demanded the ball. The clash was caught on camera and went viral. A company called Blowout Cards has now offered the woman $5,000, but only under one unusual condition.

Phillies Karen offered $5,000 to return Harrison Bader’s home run ball

Blowout Cards, a sports card retailer, said it would pay the woman, now nicknamed “Phillies Karen,” $5,000 if she agreed to return the ball. But the money comes with a catch. She must sign the baseball and write “I’m sorry” before giving it back. The company explained the goal is to place the ball back into Lincoln’s hands. “We want the child to have this memory, the right way,” the firm stated on its website. The offer has already spread widely online as fans debate if she will agree.

The incident began when Bader’s homer flew into the left-field seats. Drew Feltwell rushed for the ball, secured it, and put it straight into Lincoln’s glove. But moments later, the woman appeared. On video, she shouted, “That was mine. You took it from me.”

Drew told Good Morning America that she kept screaming and saying vulgar words in front of children. “All I could think was, make her go away,” Drew explained. He finally handed her the ball to stop the confrontation.
