"Having f*ck you money must be amazing"- Stephanie McMahon promoting sponsor Surfshark VPN has fans in splits

Stephanie McMahon has been involved with the WWE since she was a teenager. From modeling merchandise for the company to becoming a wrestler and then becoming the CEO before her resignation, she has seen it all.

Currently, her husband, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, is the Chief Content Officer for WWE while McMahon remains behind the scenes, with her podcast show and Netflix series.

But a recent comment by her, where she urged fans to use a VPN has everyone in splits.

While the 'to watch WWE' part wasn't explicitly said, in a recent episode of her podcast, WWE veteran Stephanie McMahon asked WWE fans to use VPN - Surfshark - which was the sponsor of that particular episode of her podcast.

And talking about that particular comment of hers, fans are mocking McMahon, saying she is indirectly telling fans to use a VPN to watch WWE and save money instead of watching it on Netflix.

Hilariously, the initial part of her comment during this promotional bit was about urging fans to go for Netflix which is one of the official streaming partners of WWE. Fans from outside of the USA depend on Netflix to bring the wrestling event to their screens and generate high revenue.

But the use of VPN, which is obviously at a much lower rate, would mean forfeiting Netflix and going the VPN route to watch the wrestling show.

From comments like "Damn, having fuck you money must be amazing," to "100% She has no idea what she’s reading or what it means," to "They got her good," a Reddit post about the promotional bit has gained a lot of attention from fans. She is not a direct part of the company, even if it was founded by her family - so being an adjacent does give her a leeway, and this promotion shows just that. The Reddit post in itself read, "Stephanie McMahon telling everyone to use a VPN for WWE on Netflix😭😭😭She’s telling you guys not to pay $30," and fans are losing it, saying McMahon has so much money that she doesn't even care if people watch WWE by using VPN - it won't make a dent in her massive fortune.
