According to Kendrick Perkins, Nico Harrison needed the much-needed peace of mind away from the Mavericks’ chaotic front desk situation.

Former Boston Celtics star Kendrick Perkins shared a very different view on Nico Harrison’s exit from the Dallas Mavericks. According to the sports analyst, Harrison needed some time off from the chaotic front desk the NBA franchise. During a recent conversation with TMZ at LAX, Perkins reflected on how Nico Harrison went through one of the worst times of his life after Luka Doncic’s exit from Mavericks. He even touched on the Harrisons’ current state and said,

"In fairness to Nico, he lost his job -- he didn't get a chance to see that team on the floor fully healthy. We still haven't seen Kyrie Irving and AD touch the floor together in a Dallas Maverick uniform, which is unfortunate, but when you trade an international superstar, your room for error is very, very small.

And that's what ended up happening."Kendrick Perkins even mentioned that maybe Nico would not be interested in being a part of any NBA franchise post his exit from the Mavericks. The NBA icon emphasized Nico Harrison losing his job during the ongoing NBA season. Reportedly, the entire situation at the Dallas Mavericks front office escalated after Luka Doncic was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Mavericks fans went ballistic on Harrison and even demanded his eviction from the NBA franchise.
