Hema Malini on Dharmendra's hospitalisation reports; here's what she says

Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra has been placed on ventilator support at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The 89-year-old, who was hospitalised over a week ago after he complained of breathlessness, continues to be under close medical observation.Confirming the development, his wife and veteran actress Hema Malini told Bombay Times that the family remains by his side, praying for his recovery. Replying to our message, she said, "Hoping for his speedy recovery. 🙏🏻😔💕”As per news sources, Dharmendra’s condition remains serious but stable, with doctors monitoring his vital parameters round the clock. Sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with other family members, have been visiting the hospital regularly.The actor, who will turn 90 on December 8, 2025, has had a few health setbacks in recent years. In April, he underwent an eye graft surgery but was soon back to engaging with fans on social media, often sharing messages of positivity and gratitude.One of Indian cinema’s most beloved icons, Dharmendra made his debut in 1960 with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere and went on to become a household name through the 1960s with memorable performances in films like Anpadh, Bandini, Anupama and Aaya Sawan Jhoom Ke.
