Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday (May 1, 2026) launched the self-enumeration phase of Census 2027 in the State by recording his own details on the portal. He appealed to all Jharkhand residents to fulfil their responsibility by participating actively and enthusiastically in the Census process.

Senior Census officials briefed the Chief Minister on the detailed procedures regarding registration on the online self-enumeration portal, noting that the self-enumeration campaign will be conducted until May 15.
